The Waterboy is a movie that you can take your kids to see with you more or less. I would never in a million years take mine (if I had any) to see any Jay and Silent Bob movie. Thus there goes a grand chunk of an audience the movie might have had if it wasn't so vulgar. Don't start flaming me now cause you think I'm a fundamentalist. I loved the flick and I too have every one of the Askew movies on DVD. But I can understand why the movie didn't make a lot. There's not such a large audience that wants to hear the language in these movies.
