saw it last night. it kicked ass!!! you said it was for us, and damn was it ever!!! of course i'm going again today. i'm guessing this thing will see several of my dollars before the month is over. i have to say though, it was a strange crew in that theater. there were four 11 or 12 year old kids in the front row (those theater personnel, they really crack down you know). mostly teenagers though, i swear there was a high school basketball team in front of me & gavin. three rows of strapping seventeen year old boys. they didn't really seem to have that trekkie-style appreciation for what they were experiencing, but they really enjoyed the show. they fucking freaked out when ferrell came on the screen. there was a thirtysomething couple who stayed halfway through the credits. the three young girls who sat next to us (whom gavin noted were 'hot, hot and hot'), they seemed to know the history, because gavin heard 'hey, that's their monkey from mallrats' in stereo. but, gavin and i were the only ones who stayed for the entire thing, honoring that closing of the book. nice touch!! i'm just sorry i couldn't make it to red bank. again, thanks to kevin and scott and everyone on the job.
i thought the waiting was over. then i realized that i need the video/dvd. does the anticipation never end here in the askewniverse?
