I don't think Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was anything like Scary Movie.. I mean, out of the five movies of the New Jersey Chronicles, this one has the weakest plot, but it's driven by the stellar performances and dialogue, not the road trip scenario.
When I see a Scary Movie flick, I just see it as a bunch of raunchy jokes strung together, quite badly. This is not so with JASBSB.
