Well, I would assume since he just lost millions of dollars because he sold his rights to Bluntman and Chronic to Banky he is a little bit obsessed about Bluntman and Chronic (Jay and Silent Bob) and has started to pick up their slang. He is obviously keeping tabs on the movie among other things so why would he not be rereading the comics over and over and over (and thereby picking up their slang and vulgarity).
: 2) Chris Rock as Shaka King. This sounds more like Nat X stuff (i.e. stuff Chris Rock would write for himself) than anything Kevin would write. And, again, the shit aint funny.
: I'm not ragging on the movie. I really enjoyed it, and foudn MOST of it funny, but the Holden and Nat X (sorry, Shaka King) stuff fell like a lead balloon both times I"ve seen it.
I think THIS was a spoof of Spike Lee (but I'm not really sure because I don't really know a lot about Spike Lee) and others.
I think those explanations make the most sense (unless Kevin wants to set me straight).
