Loved the flick.--and a truly heartfelt thank-you.

Not much to say, just think you stretched as a filmmaker, although, to be honest, the script was a step back or two (but I shant complain--this had the biggest laugh ratio of any movie I've ever seen).

Two Questions:

1. How much of the girl gang stuff was cut?

2. Is the last scene in the Bluntcave, with Willenholy and Banky holding one another an outtake thrown into the movie? It looked so, but I couldn't be sure.

And Kevin, as someone who would love to be a dialog-center writer some day, I have to tell you that I almost died laughing at...

"I can't believe Judi Dench playe ME in the movie!"

My God Sir, I lvoe you so much.

On a final note, I want to thank you. This movie was the last time that I was able to spend time with a good friend who will be attending college, starting next week. In a way, I feel like I'm going to lose him, and I really love him dearly (but not in a Banky way). As die-hard fans, it seemed to be a fitting send-off for him as he moves on to be a music major at NYU.

It's also the turning point for myself and my friends I brought because now a lot of us are enterting our senior year in high school, and the proposition is a scary one (especially since I don't know whether or not I want to attend film school, mainly because of you). However, for those 95 minutes I watched your movie, everything was just so peachy, I couldn't stand it.

As a Jersey resident, the movie also allowed me to have a reason to get together all my nearest and dearest friends, and just celebrate the fact that we're, you know, still here. And I was able to round up most of the people I know and love and brought them to this movie...from a friend who I've had for the past 12 years, but have sort of drifted from, old friends to new friends, to my nearest and dearest, we were all able to come together and share a theatre while watching your movie. (I brought about 15 to the theatre)

I know it might sound corny, but I can't thank you enough. I hope as you're cruising the board you can read this (and maybe even respond...) because I want you to know how important your work has been to me as a one-day hopeful filmmaker, Jersey resident, and someone who just enjoys a good movie.

In a way, my heart sank went the "written and directed by kevin smith" title came up, because that it was it. It was over. Not only an era as far as your career goes (and you sir, are my Idol) but an era in my life. It's time for me to put away the old, and welcome the new, and I thank God that I was able to go out/in with a big bang, as you did as well.

Again, thanks Kevin. From the bottom of my heart.
