Oh man, IL isn't the only place. I went to the very first showing of it here in Iowa. I've been waiting for quite a while to see this movie. I went to it and there were maybe 16 people including me and my four friends. The thing is, I think we were the only ones laughing. It's like no one else saw any of the other movies. Me and my friends burts out laughing when we saw the sign that said "I assure you we are open" on the quick stop. Then when we saw the old characters, that got us laughing too. Especially when Dante said "I'm not even supposed to be here today". I guess it did help that last weekend we re-watched all the movies to completely refresh our memory of the past characters. Still, it seemed like we were the only ones who got the humor there. It's like, Beavis & Butt-Head and so many other rediculous shows like it were such big hits, you'd think people would love J&SBSB. I hope it hits hard and really gives American Pie 2 a beating. I hate that it's those kind of stupid lame movies people are going to now. It's like twisted humor isn't good enough anymore, they need lower intelligence movies, that play on sex and every character is a complete idiot. What is it with all these stupid sequals anyway. Instead of making a sequal, they should do like Kevin did and create whole different movies using a few same characters and making it so you have to watch all the movies to get it. I think Kevin Smith's idea of colaborating all the movies and leading it up Jay & Silent Bob was genius. I don't know if Kevin had that idea back when he did Clerks then Mallrats, but I think it was genius.
