Okay. Reasons I think that Kevin either didn't have a fully defined
script for this movie, or he didn't have control over his actors too well:
1) Ben Affleck as Holden. What the fuck movie was Ben in when he did those scenes? Certainly not J&SBSB. "Bungggggg"??? Has Holden gone INSANE in his hermet-artist lifestyle? I really HOPE Affleck was just ad-libbing, cuz the shit aint funny.
2) Chris Rock as Shaka King. This sounds more like Nat X stuff (i.e. stuff Chris Rock would write for himself) than anything Kevin would write. And, again, the shit aint funny.
I'm not ragging on the movie. I really enjoyed it, and foudn MOST of it funny, but the Holden and Nat X (sorry, Shaka King) stuff fell like a lead balloon both times I"ve seen it.
