First let me say the movie was great. I plan to see it a few more times and can't wait for the DVD.
Now let me send a little word about the Askew Fans from Columbus, Ohio. The first showing today was at the Lennox 24 at 12:10pm. I'd say about 50 hardcore fans and about 15-20 "walk-ins" where there. I see lots of movies during the day and with school already started around here.....for a noon showing this was a nice turn out.
The crowd ate the fucking movie up!!! They loved it. Baby Jay & Bob got huge laughs. THe only real "look who is on screen" came for RICK DERRIS. In the form of "FUCK RICK DERRIS" LOL! Plus for the record the crowd did give applause to Mark Skywalker.
The Scooby-Doo stuff had everyone laughing hard. The second time Jay & Bob hicked a ride (from the red jeep) had people rolling. Almost everyone stayed to read the "thank you" stuff but it was going to damn fast to read. Everyone even was laughing hard at the Afroman song. (I figured everyone had heard it at this point) One lady was in tears laughing so hard at the song.
Just a fun fun fun fun movie.
