I don't post because the readin's entertaining enuf :), but this review that Ming posted just set me off. It's not the only one of its kind, and I know everyone's entitled to their opinion; but holy smoke! To get this wrapped up about stupid jokes, I mean... COME ON ALREADY!
This world is filled with obscenities, words & dumb jokes being the LEAST of them. This lady gets her panties in a wad because of some jokes she dosen't like, but I wonder if she bothers railing against the misogyny in James Bond films. Or is that ok? Why do people seem to actually *appreciate* the veneer of respectability?!
Take a movie like Grease, which was liked and accepted and even turned into a freaking broadway show, basically tell young girls that if they want to get the guy they like they have to be sluts - what's Ms. Lester's review of *that* movie, I wonder.
Anyway, getting off my soap box now... sorry folks, just had to put in my 20 cents.
