: Dear Mr. Smith,

: I'm sure others will read this post and think I'm stupid for doing this, and I have considered this as well, so i apologize for any inconvenience. I heard you read the Bulletin Board from time to time and this was the only way of reaching you. I saw the premiere for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back a month in advance and I must say that I loved every single thing about it. Great job! Now, on to why I'm writing.

: Realizing that you are a big fan of comics and that you've wrote a few yourself, I am specifically interested in the comic "Darkchylde" from Maximum Press/Image/Darkchylde Comics. Even though it is a dark comic based on supernatural dreams, I feel that there is more into it based on the characteristics of growing up and emotional bonds many people have felt currently or in the past. Based on this assumption, (here's the catalyst), I wrote a script somewhat closely parallel to the comic. I felt that it's a good story and that it doesn't need much changing; only some tweaking here and there for Hollywood and the fanboys. I have no permission from the creator Randy Green, but I have emailed him at his website. Knowing how you enjoy comics and how it was for you starting out in film, I was hoping for any pointers, help, advice, interest, etc. Of course, the Catch-22 is that I can't sell a script or direct without an agent, yet I can't get an agent without something sold or attached to it.

: So, to all the posters, fans, and board management, I apologize for this post. I hope you get to read this and I would appreciate a reply to at least go **ck off.

: Thank you for your time.
