As my DVD collection grows, I find myself not so swayed by tricky gimmicks and doo-hickeys, but rather now purchase movies for the MOVIE, and seldom actually play around with the "interactive" extras. I'll watch the deleted scenes, and if it is compelling enough, interviews with the director or whomever, but the "work" involved with the "follow the Rabbit" MATRIX-style extras just make watching the movie a chore.

I loved MALLRATS, don't get me wrong, but even when viewing it, I was still sort of nervous waiting around for the logo, and apprehensive that I might have missed something, or whatever.
