First off, I want to say thanks for representing Jersey for all of these years, Kevin. I'm going to move back there one of these days. As it is, I'm stuck in Ohio right now.
I have to say that I'm damned sorry to see the live action universe end, but this was a sweet, sweet film to end it with. I saw it twice today (a first for me, seeing a movie twice in one day) and once last week (a sneak preview). I will probably see it again tomorrow with the one I love. That's how much I think of the film.
I just wanted to say also that through your various comics, film, and cartoon projects, Kevin, you have made me a fan for life. On a more personal level, you've also become one of my heroes over the years. You put yourself on the map with a small, low budget black and white movie with no connections whatsoever, and went on to great success with your subsequent films. And through it all you stayed true to yourself and your creative vision. You did all of this in Hollywood, no less, a place where honesty and artistic integrity traditionally take a backseat to monetary concerns. A story like that just fills my heart with hope. If a guy can succeed in Hollywood and still stay true to himself, then damn near anything is possible. Thank you for giving me that, Kevin, and God bless you, your family and your friends. May you see even greater success in the future.
