Congratulations for Jay and Silent Bob Stike Back; a warm, funny film that made our family again feel a part of your family. My wife and I were there for the first showing in Valdosta, Georgia, enjoying the arrival of the audience. My daughter wasn't able to be at the premiere so I will see it again with her tomorrow. There were belly laughs from those in the theater, a few good-natured groans, and many positive reactions to the cornucopia of inside jokes and familar faces. Send me something negative about orangutans, so I can dissuade my wife from adopting one.
You have brought us slapstick, introspection, a love of language, and people about whom we care. You brought deep emotion and spiritual validation wrapped in a crusty shell easily excavated. Now you bring us a fan-friendly,light-hearted comedy that unifies the Kevin Smith vision into a wonderful theatrical pastiche.
