: : Is anyone else growing irritated by the fact that critics keep referring to the
: : "Scooby-Doo" scene in J&SBSB as a reference to the forthcoming movie?

: : Like, did it perhaps occur to anyone that maybe Kevin's referring to the original
: : cartoon? Or would that be too much to ask?

: I don't know if I'm "irritated" by that, or even what he's referring to, but I do know that THAT SCENE WAS FUCKING FUNNY! I just read in news-askew that the Scooby scene was supposed to be a little longer originally. It was supposed to show Scooby get stoned, attack Jay and Bob, and then hump one of the windows on the van. They had an animitronic Scooby, complete with working genetiles and everything. Hopefully, it'll be on the DVD.

Well, I was under the impression that it was meant to poke fun at the forthcoming flick, mainly because Marc Blucas (Buffy's Reilly) is "Fred", obviously a little nod to SMG and Freddie... one quesiton though, was he the first one cast in the role? Was David Boreanaz ever approached?
