: Vincent, bro, relax. He's not attacking you, he's just another moron writer on a DVD website that nobody goes to (I know I don't).

I didn't think he seemed lacking in calm over it, but you're right, he certainly isn't anyone to be concerned over.

I think Vincent has been very accepting of constructive criticism on this. He responded respectfully to both Jeff and my reviews – which were admittedly both overall intended positively – and our complaints. He has acknowledged that the movie itself is a first effort and that shows at times, but he's proud of it on many levels and is thankful it will never be his FEAR & DESIRE.

: The acting at times was not that good. The leads, sure. Some awkwardness showed through on them VERY slightly, but the supporting characters seemed to have the most trouble.

I thought most of the cast was surprisingly good. I liked the guy who played Todd very well also.

: The father scene in the truck just makes me cringe. Sorry, it does.

I liked the first one, but there was something about the way the father says "faggot" in the flashback half that rang false for me, but nothing terrible and when it cut back to his reaction to the memory, he's fantastic, so I was able to move on no trouble.

: The aunt seems VERY uncomfortable most of the time…

She was flat-out awful. No argument here.

: … as well as Jason Lee's wife (that is her playing the female supporting character, isn't it?).

I have to disagree here. I thought she was quite charming and real.
