My brother and I caught the first showing at 11 am or so on opening day -- about a third of the seats were filled. Obviously the audience consisted primarily of die hard fans, and as such the film was quite well recieved. Lots of laughter, crys of joy as Jason Lee appears, and applause when, well, the cue for applause came up. This is a suburban college town though, so be weary of favorable demographics.
