: Drugs, Booze, sex, they are all fucking funny, because nobody should care THAT much about anything enough to be addicted. So if you are, it's funny. Plain and simple.

that is a damn stupid argument. It's barely an argument, it's so nonsensical.

: Oh yeah, and I've been close to them all, and told them how funny it was. So don't say that "You wouldn't laugh if it happened to you.", because it has,

wooooah. What has? Who did you tell how funny it was?

: and your addiction to complaining about the subject of addiction enough to where you write in to the L.A. Times, makes me laugh even more.

hm. Writing ONE letter is not an addiction. If you truly did laugh at that because of that bizarre reasoning, you, sir, were laughing like a fool.

: Bottom line, if you don't like something in a publication or a picture production in which you have the choice to see it or not, don't look at it.

That's ridiculous. She did see it, and found it offensive. If she hadn't seen it, she couldn't have found it offensive upon seeing it. Without seeing it, she couldn't have known it would be offensive, so she couldn't have decided not to see it.

The Events:
1: she saw it.
then
2: she found it offensive.

2 is only in existance because of 1. Therefore, the prevention 1 because of 2 is not possible because 2 did not exist subsequent to 1. Cause and effect.

Sometimes, really obvious things are hard to explain in text... heh.

: Trust people to judge for themselves and not write in and complain about lack of censorship in a Newspaper. We don't need people telling us what we can or can't see.

Censorship wasn't mentioned. Read Neil's post on film-411 about the subject. Your supposedly anti-censorship/pro-'free speech' statements there are anti-'free speech' with respect to Kelley's letter. Contradiction, see?
