My friend wants to start a comic book store with me, him and another friend of ours.

So, I think it might be kinda cool and all, but I haven't been into comics in over 10 years so I dunno what's going on in the industry for one. Is it even worth doing or is like no one into comics anymore? I have 2 full long boxes loaded with old comics, he's got even more, and another friend does too, between the 3 of us we'd have plenty of back issues to sell.

I think I'd wanna do more than comics though.. I'd like to sell CDs.. DVDs would be cool too but I get the feeling we'd never be able to compete with Best Buy and stuff, unless we only sold the hard to get stuff that most people won't buy. And there's also toys and other cool collectable things, But I refuse to sell Pokemon stuff :)

Anyone know if this would be a good idea, or should I tell him to keep dreaming? Of course, I would only want to do this if it's profitable. I don't wanna be a zillionaire, but as long as I can keep my own bills and the store's bills paid, then I think it might be fun, I just don't know how good the comic industry is doing nowadays...
