OK, first don't give me shit for this but I'm sitting here with the Big Brother 2 feeds running in the background and something catches my ear. Here's what I just heard...

Hardy: "Did you ever see Dogma? I was supposed to be a featured extra in that. Who was the director... he did Chasing Amy..."
Bunky: Chasing Amy? I had a problem with that movie but go ahead...
Hardy: Kevin Smith! So my friend was supposed to be in this scene in an airport where she's waiting for her boyfriend is getting off an air plane and Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are discussing how she's happy to see him but he doesn't know that she cheated on him. Anyway, so my girlfriend gets the part, met with Kevin Smith and got it worked out to where I'd be the boyfriend. I take two days off of work and we go out to the airport. We get put up in the Westin and get paid like $100 for the day. We go to the airport the morning of shooting, go to hair and makeup, do the blocking setting up the shot. Then, Kevin Smith, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon show up on set. After about 10 minutes an assistant director comes up to me and says they are going to have someone else play the part. Turns out it was Ben Affleck's stand in. I asked him if I did anything wrong and he said, "No, it's just the directors call." If I had known they could do that I wouldn't have taken two days off of work and gone all the way out there.

Personally I think the story is bullshit but I'd be very interested to hear what Kevin has to say about it.
