Kevin, or anyone reading the board kind enough to pass on the message,

I recently purchased, with a business partner, an old theater that was built in the 1920s as a actual acting theater. Later in the 80s, it was turned into a movie theater as the town became decently popular due to a midsize college in the town.

The theater suffered from lack of good quality film (ie, a newer theater was later built a few years prior and screwed over this small yet historic type theater and it suffered in receiving such films as Head Over Heels, and The Crew). In an attempt to vamp the old theater and make it worth something again, we are attempting to aquire rights to play films of years past. Instead of attempting to compete with the local theater by means of new films, we'd like to show the classics.

Some of your films, we easily consider classics. Obviously your run of Jersy films bring in all kinds of crowds, and we feel they would be a great addition to the theater.

We are highly interested in purchasing (however we do so) the rights to play these movies to an audience and have no idea how to go about purchasing these rights.

Any help you or others of the site have would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you for your time,

Matt Wehner
