its prequel, not prequile. that sounds like something you take before nyquil, but after dayquil

and if anything, mallrats was an insight of what was to come. this takes place a good deal of time AFTER Chasing Amy. Part of this flick is taken from the comic Chasing Dogma, which takes place between the two. call it a gap in the viewaskew'niverse. but this is definatly not a prequel.
