I agree with you whole heartedly about Ben being more at home in Kevin's films, he does great work in Kev's flicks, but I don't think he does as well in other pictures. I recall Jim Rome really getting on Ben as being one of the worst actors out there. Just not true. But then again, Jim Rome is fucking full of shit anyway. And he's a major asshole. (I don't like Jim Rome).
Kevin was a very cool laid back cat, as we come to expect. This guy must be fun to get in an argument with. But, in reference to Chris Rock calling Smith the "Buckwheat" of white actors, I just don't see it. Maybe I'm blind, maybe I just don't see it. I always thought that Kevin's acting as being unmatchable. The knock on Ben Affleck's acting, i.e. Pearl Harbor, is dead on. Ben seems to be more at home in Kevin's movies, or his own (GWH). That's all, but waht do I know I'm not an actor/writer/director . . .
