God wasn't waiting behind the door until AFTER the machine was unplugged . . . remember, they said they could not find God anywhere, and that God liked Skeeball, thus, the guy in the hospital that liked skeeball had God's spirit trapped because the machine was keeping the body alive . . . the body had to die to let God out. THEN God was waiting behind the door. Make sense?
