I'm not trying to re-start a dead issue, but I just saw AP 2....WTF?
It is SO refreshing that it is now 'hip' to go after Kevin, but AP 2 really..uh..takes the cake.
NO gay figures to identify with....
Jokes at the expense of the lifestyle galore...
Yet not one peep..and AP 2 is a BIG film that will likely influence MORE kids than J&SBSB.
Sad.
On the other hand, Mallrats was not protested.
Dogma was.
'Fun' aside, which was the better film?
Like I said, no big deal....I support GLAAD, and I support Kevin. Kevin has made me more tolerant of folks of different races and lifestyles(I'm from the South...we're all a messed up bunch...).
Thanks to growing up watching Kevin's movies, I have a far more diverse and interesting group of friends...
People DO learn from movies...
I learned to observe and respect. And then joke.
