Having read your reaction to the GLAAD issue, where you said that you
wanted to make a movie where you weren't getting jumped on by "whomever",
I just wanted to ask you to reconsider. The controversy is part of what
goes along with good/GREAT entertainment. Warm beer or cold oatmeal are
non-controversial - who cares. Great flicks are and fans do care.
Don't let the brain-dead restrain you.
I saw a disturbing rumor that J&SB will disappear from film, I pucker with
fear. A middle way is possible: Like the generations of redblooded young
men looking for the hidden rabbit on Playboy's covers, Jay & Silent Bob
could always appear in one background scene - forever, to at least reassure
the world that their "Archtypal Influence" is still out there somewhere.
