Even though the line about not kssing guys to Will Ferrel is confusing, I think Banky says that because he is not openly out yet. But he is obviously gay from the exchange with Hooper at the end. They talk about the film and then Banky says something like, "this from the guy who pretends to be Shaft..." or something like that, and then Hooper replies with, "I don't hear you complaining nightly". So they are in a sexual relationship since they are obviously having sex every night.
