Just kidding, good movie. Anything that references Clash of the Titans is worthy of praise. And it was good to see Mark Hamill in a serious role again. Every movie should end with a lightsaber duel..there's about 4,000 australians waiting to put Photoshop to the test for such a cause..Cheap labor.
Was that Brian Lynch in the comic book store in the beginning? Someone mentioned that this movie is modelled after The Muppet Movie and who better than one who so closely resembles a muppet to send the film's two protagonists on their quest. It was great seeing Jason Lee reprising his role as articulately foul-mouthed misanthrope (a very shrewd and marketable demographic)...AND...he still looks like an eagle...the nose and so forth.
Weren't 'wampa' and 'magnoliafan' actual disgruntled members of this board at one time? Were their representations in the film other people or did they actually appear as themselves for their systematic beating at the hands of Smith and Friend?
Good movie, but you're probably going to hell.
