I also wondered about this, because of the whole Planet of the Apes scene in J&SBSB and also the scene with Biggs and Van Der Beek, where they discuss homophobia and calling everything gay. Those things kind of made the Apes and the GLAAD post seem like they might have been staged, like with the MoviePoopShoot.Com thing.
Regardless, the film was great. Kevin Smith has delivered a great gift to all his fans.
