Answer me this, if having AP characters is being a sell out, why isn't having Hammil and Moris Day one as well?
Oh, and a movie called Friendly Pimp (puh-lease, to quote your use of valley vernacular)

: Christ,

: You see a film, gives your honest thoughts, and the fanboys come out full force. We see this all the time in the Prince community, when he releases a new album, all the fans say it's great, all the others say he'll never match what he did in the past, and the others say it's terrible and he hasn't made a good album since the 80's.

: I am a FAN of Kevin Smith movies. I love Clerks, Mallrats has it's moments, Chasing Amy is great (except the lame ending), Dogma is fun but loses it's focus halfway through, and J&SB Strike Back is an occassionally funny but disappointing film.

: I'm sorry, but several things in this movie scream of Kevin being a sellout. Scooby Doo?? That is -sellout-. Also including just about the whole cast of American Pie (a lame, lame film). Other things point to Kevin just writing a bad script -- the whole animal subplot, the Jewel Thieves (cartwheels through the motion sensors? Puh-lease). Other things point to Kevin having some real great taste - Morris Day & The Time, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, George Carlin.

: But overall the film is a -disappointment-. I am seeing the film again because I respect Kevin's work and would like to see it again when I don't have to hold my piss in after drinking a large Pepsi.

: Lou
