Chasing Amy was about two years after mallrats/clerks (to the best of my knowlege) as far as the similarities with suzanne and the fugitive stuff...i think they jusy kinda threw continuity to the wayside for that...i guess the comics dont necessarily have to fit in perfectly with the flicks...

Apparently Chasing Amy and Dogma take place long before Clerks and Mallrats. In one of the opening scenes of JASBSB we see Jay and Silent Bob in front of the Quick Stop which has the sign we assure you are we are open. Later Holden tells teh guys he sold the rights to the film the characters years ago...with that said.
: How come the stuff with Suzanna takes place in JASBSB. According to the comic series Jay and Silent Bob, or Chasing Dogma...that lil scenario takes place between the flicks Chasing Amy and Dogma. The entire Fugitve spoof scene was lifted from the comics.

I just wanna ask..am I missing something, am I right about the continuity flaw?
