He is not funny in this movie! He goes far beyond what is funny or even remotely cool. Have you ever seen "Down to Earth?" That movie sucks too. What, a funny as hell comedian is ALWAYS funny?

And Jon Stewart, Will Ferrell, completely suck. Who even watches SNL? The last time SNL was even remotely funny was when Eddie Murphy was on it. You could stretch it and say it was funny when Chris Farley, etc were on it...

But Jon Stewart has _never_ been funny. The Daily Show is terrible, much like all these "funny" shows in the 90's and 00's. Shit just isn't funny, man.

American Pie ain't that funny. American Pie II is worse.

And going on and on about the CLIT, sure, it got a chukle at first. But c'mon... over and over and over. Get with a new joke, man. The audience was like... c'mon, we've heard this all before. The joke is OVER.

This movie fails to live up the expectations, and is at BEST an average comedy with some hilarious moments and some very tedious, unfunny, badly written ones too.

Dooby Snacks is funny? Chaka is funny? (more like racist) A subplot with an orangutan? That shit is _not funny!_ Will Ferrell acting stupid over and over and over and over again? Sure, it gots chuckles the first time, but it was played out way too much.

Kevin most likely agrees that this film is more like the quality of Mallrats then it is the quality of gems such as Clerks and Chasing Amy. Even for an all out "comedy," there are long stretches where the film isn't even entertaining. The comedy is forced, the one trick jokes are played upon over and over and over again, the film is badly edited, and the script is out of wack.

C'mon people. Take off your fanboy glasses and tell the truth. You want to like this film so bad that you'll fool yourself into thinking it was great.
I wanted it to be great, too. So I drove 20 miles to see it at the sneak preview. The opening was hilarious, but overall the film was totally uneven and a disappointment. I want my $7.75 back, Kevin. Plus $7.75 for the popcorn & large Pepsi.

After seeing this film, I have even more hope that my script "Friendly Pimp" will finally be made into a film.

Lou
