First off, you must have no knowledge of good comedy as you obviously don't appreciate Will Ferrell or Chris Rock, one of, if not the best comedians out there, his stuff was funny. I site NWP as an example. Also, Jon Stewart, are you kidding me, have you seen the Daily Show, one of the most intelligently written things on TV these days, very funny. And if you stop and appreciate Morris Day and the Time more than the film itself, no wonder you would give it a thumbs down.

: 1. Will Ferrell is not funny. His character was stupid.
: 2. Scooby Doo, Scream references/scenes? Totally unfunny.
: 3. The Jewel Theives and Orangutan subplot was super lame.
: 4. Chris Rock was completely unfunny and his lines were plain bad. The audience sensed this as well, everyone was silent.
: 5. Jon Stewart is never funny; how many times can CLIT be funny? Enough already. He's the master of the CLIT. Yes, he works the CLIT. Snooze-fest.
: 6. Characters looking at the audience not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR TIMES!
: 7. The movie was edited together as badly as Superman IV, with chunks missing. You could tell easily. Yet the film was way too long.
: But, the film did have several cool things.
: 1. The first 15 minutes was hilarious.
: 2. The last 15 minutes was hilarious.
: 3. Hey kids, it's Mark Hamill!
: 4. Morris Day & The Time.
: 5. Quick Stop.
: 6. The Hitchhiker's Bible.
: This movie is fair at best. I will see it again Friday, though, hopefully I won't have to take a major piss halfway through. IF I was forced to give this movie a thumbs up or thumbs down, it would get a thumbs down :(. And that "Chaka" stuff was pitiful.
