Thanks for the Sneak Preview, we had a great time, and we'll be back again next week.
We're in a small town in PA, and I doubt there's a lot of people here familiar with Jay and Bob, so the theater was only about a quarter full, mostly with college age Smith fanatics (we, in our mid-30's, seemed to be the oldest people in the place). One theater goer even sported one of the black J&SBSB logo t-shirts. Unfortunately, most of them didn't hang around for the credits and the tag scene, meaning that there were only about five of us left until the bitter end. The film went over well, though and everybody seemed happy with it.
Incidentally, you could tell this crowd was ready to laugh after one of the first trailers. It was for a serious asian martial arts flick along the lines of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," but the place exploded in laughter when the title flashed on the screen: "Iron Monkey". Maybe Miramax shoud re-think that one!
No "The Others" after the flick, unless you paid to get into that one separately, but I wasn't interested in that one anyway, so no big loss.
