Back in the early 80's Howard Stern did a bit (back when he did bits, WNBC or WJFK) about Martians attacking and the only way to kill them was to play Slim Wittman songs to make there heads explode.
Tim Burton was on his show and Howard played the clip for him and everyone was amused and chalked it up to coincidence.
Now I figured it was just a coincidence and I would figure this "Apes" thing was too. But now I'm starting to wonder.
