Hey Jason,

I saw J&SBSB in Phoenix a week ago and it rocked! You did an awesome job. This is going to come out wrong, but I could tell you were acting, which I mean as a compliment. What I mean is that it's obvious you now have a handle on your craft and are able to play a "character" instead of just reciting Kev's lines. (Evident as well in Dogma, but here you're the main character of the flick, so there's much more evidence of said awesome acting.)

I've seen enough footage of you outside of the Jay character to know that you are brilliantly *playing* Jay, a character who is not the real Jason Mewes.

I could totally see you playing varied characters much like a Steve Zahn (Out of Sight) or a Sam Rockwell (Galaxy Quest, Charlie's Angels).

Now maybe you have other plans for your life and had fun with Jay and now you're done with the acting trip. But if you have aspirations to continue in the biz, here is my unsolicited little tidbit of advice to let Hollywood know you're ready to leave "Jay" behind and move on to other roles: Show up at the premiere for J&SBSB with your hair cut short. This is not fashion advice I'm giving you; you look great with long hair, but by cutting it, you would get attention from the press ("He cut his hair!"), the fans ("He cut his hair?!?!?") and the industry ("Wow, I've never looked at the guy like that. Maybe he'd be good for the part of xxxx in my next project.")

Just my two cents. Board members, what do you think? Should we start chanting "Cut your hair! Cut your hair!" or do we want him to stay the way he is?
