Take the little "tour" of their site. It's easy as Pi.
And you upload the images from your local computer, and they apply them to the items. It helps to have some sort of image-editing software, so you can make the things in the correct resolutions and sizes.
But yeah, tons of folk use them for 1-item only, I want to make a shirt or mug for myself kinda things. That's even one of the questions they ask as you set up the store- "Is this generally for 1 item?"
