I've seen the promos for the repeat that Fox is airing tonight, and they show the family at a circus, and Homer has a male juggler standing right in front of him and he's whimpering because he has to look at that guy's crotch. I know this was done with no harmful intentions (like J&SBSB), but why isn't GLAAD complaining about *that*?

Just last season a couple of mock-racist jokes had to be cut from the re-airings of some episodes...basically they depicted some of Springfields more moronic elements (Mr. Burns, Chief Wiggum, Homer) indulging in some dialogue that basically parodied the kind of idiotic anti-Chinese sentiments that go in in many households all over the country. But some Chinese-American watchdog group failed to understand the meaning of 'satire' and saw the jokes as racist in their own right. Thus, FOX forced them to remove the scenes from the episodes and they probably won't be seen again.
