In regards to the recent "homophobe" accusations pointed at Writer/Director/Gay-Friendly Kevin Smith.-
Can anyone fathom the individual who made such a beautiful movie about relatioships that reflected the gay community soo admirably, a homophobe?
I don't see how.
I have not seen the new flick yet, but I am telling you on experience as a hardcore fan- The guy is the best defense of gay people that has come along since ever. He speaks to a totally unreached group of people, through their native tounge- dick and poopie jokes. And when hes got their attention, He shows being gay as completely acceptable.
I'm Straight, but thats a HUGE reason I admire the guy. He's alot like me. He doesn't feel anyhting but love for the gay community. And I think a large group of the VA fan base is alot like me.
Hope this helped adress any concerns that were still present.
