Hey Ian,
I was thinking about this myself today - I believe the music rights for the tunes used on the trailer were only valid for a limited time. They revereted back before the DVD came out.
Kind of changes the whole mood doesn't it? I think the Scott Mosier picked tune 'Young Boys' by Lords of Acid used at the end of the trailer really gets the heart going.

: I have a question about the Dogma trailer on the DVD(s) that maybe Vincent can answer (since he seems to have all the answers around here)...and i'm sure it's been answered before, and i don't think it's in the summaries, bu, WHY is the music so horribly different in the trailer from the theatrical (and net) version to the DVD version? Is there a version on a DVD somewhere that has the original music?
: Also, different movie trailer, but still a question, why is the Chasing Amy trailer on the CA & Clerks Uncensored DVDs different than the one on the CA Laserdisc? Usually it starts out with the reveal of Jay & Bob, but on the DVD versions, the whole trailer seems COMPLETELY different. Why is that?
: Sorry, two questions masquerading as one, my bad.
