Back in my newspaper days (I never worked in advertising, though, but I knew how that department operated), a bunch of us would go to the movies and there'd be the newspaper ad in the window with the notice: "(INSERT LOCAL PAPER NAME HERE) got the times wrong in their Saturday advertisement. Please note the correct showtimes for..." It pissed me off because I knew for a FACT that the theater chain PROVIDED the showtimes and they were all double- and triple-checked before running. It was much easier to blame the paper than apologize.
That said, I'm looking forward to "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back" whenever it hits a theater near me. I'm in no hurry.
