This GLAAD thing just goes to show one how quickly an "activist" goes to "corporate type shakedown artist" when they start getting a paycheck. I've lost alot of respect for the NAACP and GLAAD over the years...for the very same reasons. They've become part of the problem...no longer part of the solution.
These "mini-Moses" gangs can only point out the direction to the promised land...shit like what just happened to Smith is exactly why they can never go all the way in.

But I "get" Kevin Smith.
He talks my talk. He's opened my eyes to things I'd never considered. He's shown me how to be more tolerant of other people and their particular groove. I have a shitty job not making dick, but I've got a DVD on my laptop and everything fat boy has managed to release (including the cartoons...Baldwin kicked ass). I hope he got at least some of the money I paid for them...my way of supporting a good cause.
A message for GLAAD...if you want to teach me tolerance, you better distract me first by entertaining me. You get in my face...you'll get what you think you want...confrontation. It's a helluva lot easier to listen with a smile on your face.
