Yes, because the charge hit him so unexpectedly and he was so horrified at the thought of an organization of folks who he has been a friend to would lump him in with "the bad guys." It's like being told by your FRIENDS that you are an asshole. When your avowed enemies call you that, you wear it as a badge of honor.
GLAAD is supposed to be a "good guy" organization. (Personally, I find that term an oxymoron, but hey...) When they acted like a bad guy, I think maybe Kevin ASSUMED guilt on his part enough to be pressured into contributing.
Weren't we all supposed to be going out for ice-cream, though?
