: You want a special edition, though, you'll probably be waiting until NEXT christmas.

Miramax has been on it of late in getting out some extensive sets day and date with VHS. Take a look at the two-disc set of "Bounce", which came out five months after the release of the movie. VERY premature to talk about when the DVD would street anyway, but a big special editon of J&SBSB could be done day and date with the VHS.

If you are making the comparison with the "Dogma" SE DVD, well that one had post-premiere documentaries to make, making it kinda of a toughie to get the SE DVD done in the window between the theatrical release and the VHS premiere, and was later shelved as they had problems with the documentary content. And I'm not sure if Columbia Tri-Star came into the picture, as well as View Askew's wishes for a special edition DVD (all of Vincent's work on the deleted scenes, J.M's documentaries, comentaries, etc.) until after the movie was release, so that could of heald up a lot more. J&SBSB has a company behind it already, so plans are already made. I'm not sure what is in store with J&SBSB but what is expected on the DVD is mostly behind the scenes footage that Jennifer shot (possibly including the premiere, I think) and who knows if that is being put together right now.
