The TV spots don't look as good as the internet trailers did. It seems like a chopped up version of the theatrical trailer but without the punchlines to all the jokes. The worst part is that it insinuates that it doesn't show Holden's line after the "So who's fuckin' playin' us in the movie?" Jay line. All he says is "Ben Afleck and Matt Damon." but not the "Probably" at the beginning or the "you know, they put them in a bunch of movies." at the end.
However, as disappointing as the TV spot was compared to the others, it did do just as good of a job explaining the basic plot of the movie, and as tonight is the night of The Rock's return to the WWF, the ratings are expected to spike tremendously, which is more exposure for the movie. I just hope it doesn't get overshadowed by the 15 million fucking times they played the Bubble Boy or American Pie 2 trailer.
