It has to be. Kevin has been telling us Aug. 22nd all along and if there was a change, he'd be the first to know, right? And not to place us in a more important position than we are but if Kevin & co. are the first to know, we'll be the second to know.
I think J&SBSB was originally supposed to open this Wednesday, but they moved it so it wouldn't be competing with "Planet of the Apes". Damn good thing, too, apparently. Probably the station you were watching didn't receive the updated ads, or some such.

: Last night during the simpsons, a promo ran for J & SB and they said "OPENING WEDNESDAY" not the 22nd, not soon, OPENING THIS WEDNESDAY. I was not the only one who saw it. A friend saw two spots on saturday that said the same thing. what gives? did fox make a major fuck-up? I MUST KNOW!!!!!
: I mean, if it has been moved up three weeks, that's frickin' awesome... but it's kind of odd... for a movie that's testing so high, so many people are looking forward to it, you think they'd want to promo the hell out of it. Normally they start the heavy blitz two weeks before the film...
