: Refers to an archaic law that monitored the comics industry for content. The comics authority code or something like that. basically it is censorship in comics. The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF) as well as many artist have long been opposed to the code and have been fighting over it, Marvel has finally decided to drop it all together and replace it with their own system. If you look on a lot of mainstream comics, not as much now, but more in the past, you will see a little symbol that looks like an "A" on them denoting that it is approved by the code.
