The first VA movie I saw was Chasing Amy. A friend suggested it because the story related to a mutual couple's problems.
Fast forward to the release of Dogma: my fiance said something about the other movies when we were planning to see Dogma together. He mentioned the trio, and I said I had seen Chasing Amy but not the others. We immediately went to the video store and rented Clerks and Mallrats. I caught on the relationships (the Jones sisters, Dante and Gill, etc) almost instantly. I was addicted.
Fast forward to now: My fiance thinks he has created a monster because I am absolutely addicted to all things ViewAskew (and related). He hears at least once a week about how I can't wait for J&SBSB to come out . . .
. . . the memories will always be strong and the characters will always be friends.
