What about dun-dunna: Everybody Loves Raymond? Roseanne? Home Improvement? Grace Under Fire? And about a billion others!
You dullard! It's standard practice: Get stand up comedian, give them a show with their name in the title and set the story around their life, friends and home.
What I wanna know is: Where's "Whoopi"? Surely the most obvious of all stand-up/sit-com (hey! that works!) combinations? Why hasn't THAT been milked??
