Too many residents take great pleasure in causing trouble for film shoots. They see it as their right to sponge as much money out of "Hollywood productions" as possible. Better to shoot somewhere that doesn't get that many big productions. I thought Pittsburg was a great choice.
But then again, I could really be talking outta my ass. Y'all are the professionals.
