OK i know this has nothing to do with kevin smith but the people on this board are smart for the most part and pretty critical, so here are my reasons that Sienfeld and the Drew Carey Show are to similar for comfort.

1. both Jerry Sienfeld and Drew carey are stand up comedians.

2. both shows contain theirs names in the title.

3. the pimary place that both shows take place are the place of residence of the star of the show. Jerrys Apartment. Drews house.

4. both Jerry and Drew have 3 best friends consisting of 2 guys and one girl. Sienfeld - George, Kramer, Elaine. Drew - Louis, Oswald, Kate.

5. there is a primary place where all the characters constantly eat, drink and get together all the time. Sienfeld - Monk's Cafe. Drew - The Warsaw Tavern.

6. both Stars have had a relationship with the girl best friend. Jerry - Elaine. Drew - Kate.

7. both jerry and drew have an "arch-nemesis" on the show that is overwieght and wierd. Jerry - Newman. Drew - Mimi.

8. jerry siendfeld has a superman statue in his apartment. drew carey has a Green Lantern Statue in his house.

9. both Kate and Elaine have very aggressive attitudes. Kate screams and Elaine shoves.

10. they both play repeats every weeknight on Fox (this is a bad comparison but i thought 10 reasons just looked better)

so please respond to tell me if you think i am right, wrong or am completely wasting any brainpower i have left.
